29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Workers were observed engaged in commercial construction activities re-roofing an existing office building. Workers were exposed to potential fall hazards from heights of 9.3 feet in that the workers were not utilizing a proper fall protecion system.
