29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Miller Contracting Group, Inc. on or about August 31, 2011 at the address of 1200 Indiana Ave. in St. Mary's, OH: The employer did not assure employees were protected from falls of approximately 12 feet and up to approximately 23 feet while performing roofing work on a commercial structure. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
