Flexible cords and cables may pass through doorways or other pinch points, if protection is provided to avoid damage. a. On the 2nd floor mechanical room where the employer ran tenmporary wiring between two panel boxes, the energized electrical wiring was pinched between the metal covers thereby exposing employees to a contact hazard.
