29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): The employer did not assure that portable fire extinguishers were subjected to an annual maintenance check. The employer did not record the annual maintenance date and retain this record for one year after the last entry or the life of the shell, whichever is less. a) Aviation Life Support Equipment Shop (ASLE): On August 24, 2011, and at times prior thereto, the fire extinguisher was not checked on an annual basis as evidenced by the expired fire extinguisher tag dated 20 September 2007.
