29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet(1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provisionin paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 8'-4" above the concrete surface below while installing shingles because the lack of fall protection. THE C.L. CAMPBELL CONSTRUCTION WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION 312893571, CITATION 1, ITEM 1a, WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JULY 20, 2010, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 522 OJER, MEREDOSIA, ILLINOIS 62665.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fallhazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed inorder to minimize these hazards: Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 8'-4" above the concrete surface below while installing shingles because of the lack of fall protection and the employer did not have a training program for providing fall protection for the employees. THE C.L. CAMPBELL CONSTRUCTION WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION 312893571, CITATION 1, ITEM 1b, WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JULY 20, 2010, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 522 OJER, MEREDOSIA, ILLINOIS 62665.
