29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: Employees were exposed to a falls of approximately 14 feet to 18 feet when using extension ladders to access the roof to perform roofing operations and the side rails of the ladder extended approximately two (2) foot above the landing surface. The employer did not provide training for each employee that would have enabled them to recognize the hazards and provided them with the procedures to follow to minimize these hazards.
