29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(ix): Lamps for general illumination were not protected from accidental contact or breakage by a suitable fixture or lampholder with a guard. (a) At warehouse bay #4, an articulating type lamp was exposed to physical damage. The lamp was positioned approxmately 64" from the floor level and was not provided with an enclosure or guard to prevent damage, thus potentially exposing personnel to contact with a hot bulb or potential electrical shock.
