29 CFR 1910.133(a)(3): Protective eye equipment that incorporates the prescription in its design or eye protection that can be worn over the prescription lenses was not required where there was a reasonable probability of injury that could be prevented by such equipment: On or about December 19, 2011, employees were allowed to wear prescription glasses without side shields, instead of safety glasses with side shields when operating stamping presses.
