29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) Jobsite: On October 25, 2011 and times prior thereto employees performed framing activities, which included installing trusses, from the exterior top plates without a fall protection system in place exposing them to fall hazards ranging from approximately 10 feet to 19 and a half feet. b) Jobsite: On October 25, 2011 and times prior thereto employees performing framing activities on the second floor level were exposed an approximate 13 and a half foot fall hazard at unguarded window openings. c) Jobsite: On October 25, 2011 and times prior thereto employees performing framing activities were exposed to an open sided floor at the top of the stairway when accessing the second floor.
