(a) In the Waffle Room, workers were exposed to a trip hazard due to a ~ 3 inch diameter flexible hose which ran from a pump to the mixing drum.  This flexible hose was approximately 6 to 8 inches above floor level.  Workers had to step over this hose, and a worker was observed tripping over this hose.

The operator of this equipment was periodically positioned between the north and south waffle oven lines, and this condition thus existed on both sides of the worker performing this operation.
