29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) On or about October 31, 2011, employees were not protected from falls in excess of 6 feet while performing roofing work. The employer had erected an incomplete warning line system where there was not a complete line installed along the west side of the roof. Employees were also working outside of the warning line without being monitored or protected by a fall arrest (or restraint) system.
