29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. On or about September 20, 2011, at the jobsite located at 16509-15 Timberview Drive, Orland Park, IL. - An employee performing HVAC work on a roof with a 8x12 pitch was exposed to fall hazards of approximately thirty (30) feet.
