29 CFR 1910.179(j)(2)(iii):     Monthly inspections of hooks, with a certification record which includes the date of inspection, the signature of the person who performed the inspection and the serial number, or other identifier, of the hook inspected, were not performed:    The employer did not certify in writing the hook on the overhead gantry crane on a monthly basis.         Sterling Rail Services LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent 29 CFR 1910.179 (j)(2)(iii) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315238840, citation number 02, item number 02, and was affirmed as a final order on 06/22/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 3405 West 4th street, Sterling IL 61081.      Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
