29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent): a) Whirlpool Corporation Findlay, OH: On or about November 8, 2011, the employer did not assure employees removing dish racks from the screen guarding above line four were protected from the open area associated with the carrier elevator. An accident occurred when an employee fell 23 feet through the open area to the concrete floor below.
