29 CFR 1910.101(b): Section 3.3.8, Compressed Gas Association pamphlet PI 1965, as adopted by 29 CFR 1910.101(b): Compressed gas cylinder(s) were not properly supported to prevent them from being knocked over: a) On or about November 29, 2011, at the above located workplace, employees performed tire busting and other duties near unchained compressed gas cylinders. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with falling compressed gas cylinders. b) On or about November 29, 2011, at the above located workplace, employees worked in the compressed gas cylinder storage shed near unchained compressed gas cylinders. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with falling compressed gas cylinders.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour. a) On or about November 29, 2011, in compressed gas cylinder storage shed the oxygen cylinders and propane cylinders were stored within 5 feet of each other. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazard associated with fire.
