29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: On or about November 16, 2011, while performing tear off and replacement of weatherproofing from a residential roof, the employer failed to ensure employees working from an 8/12 pitched main roof and a 10/12 pitched dormer were protected from a fall of approximately11 feet by using an adequate fall protective system/devices. RPW WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1926.5014(B)(13), WHICH WS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 314937731, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 001 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON OCTOBER 15, 201, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 5549 STRATHMORE, HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, OH 44143.
