29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail and one stair-rail system along each unprotected side or edge: a) On or about November 18, 2011, employees were exposed to fall hazards while using stairways that were not equipped with stair-rail system. D.O.M. Construction Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1) which was contained in OSHA violation number 310982079, citation 1, item 5, issued on June 11, 2007 and became final order on or about July 5, 2007 with respect to a workplace located at 7544 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, IL 60634. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
