29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and verticalsurface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Filters building A & B: On November 30, 2011 and times prior thereto, the controlling employer, The Ewing Company, did not ensure that it's sub contractor protected their employees from fall hazards while installing solar tubes on a one in twelve pitched metal roof. Note) Abatement certification is NOT required for this item.
