29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: On or about December 2, 2011, while performing tear off and replacement of weatherproofing from a residential roof, the employer failed to ensure employees working from a 6/12 pitch roof were protected from a fall of approximately 10 feet 8 inches by using an adequate fall protective system/devices.
