CFR 1910.151(c):  Where the eyes or body of any person were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:    	(a)	ABC Industries, Inc. 610 South 12th Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501:  On and before December 5, 2011, the exposing employer did not provide an eye wash station to ensure that all affected employees working with corrosive materials such as adhesives, fiberglass dust and fibers, and additional resins had access to a flushing facility within the work area for immediate use. This condition exposed approximately 6 employees to eye hazards while producing plastic heating ventilation and cooling tubing in the main production area.

CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    	(a)	ABC Industries, 610 South 12th Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501:  On and before December 5, 2011, the exposing employer did not ensure that all affected employees utilizing a Central Machinery Drill Press, Serial Number 0722090079, located in the main storage area, were guarded from hazards created by the machines rotating parts and flying chips. This condition exposed employees to hazards from the machines rotating parts and hazards from chips and/or sparks while utilizing the drill press.

CFR 1910.242(b):  Compressed air used for cleaning was not less than 30 p.s.i. and no effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment was provided when it was:     	(a)	ABC Industries, Inc. 610 South 12th Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501:  On and before December 5, 2011, the exposing employer did not ensure that compressed air used for cleaning was less than 30 p.s.i.  Specifically, the employees working in the cutting and painting area were using air measured at 55 p.s.i by a pressure gage to clean themselves and equipment. This condition exposed employees to eye and other hazards associated with high pressure air.
