29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): Energy control program. The employer shall establish a program consisting of energy control procedures, employee training, and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performs any servicing or maintenance on a machine orequipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative.    (a) Throughout the facility; The employer did not establish an energy control program consisting of specific energy control procedures, employee training, and periodic inspections to ensure machinery or equipment was properly isolated from energy source(s).

(a) Throughout the facility; The employer did not establish clear and specific steps to be followed in order to control the release of hazardous energy for machinery such as, but not limited to, the CNC Punch Presses (Whitney & Wiedemann), Shears (Betenbender & Ursviken), Press Brakes (Pacific & LVD), Sheet Roller, Angle Rollers, CNC Angle Punch Press, Lathes, Milling Machines (Ex-Cell-O & Bridgeport), Iron Workers (HydraCrop), and Hydraulic Saw (s-20P).
