29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Employees were engaged in a commercial construction project and exposed to a fall hazard in excess of 11 feet 5 inches while installing the facia boards and walking the entire West side rear top plate and not utilizing any type of fall protection. The Performance Construction Group, LLC has been cited for this violation or similar violation In OSHA inspection 314213083, citation 01, item 002, issued on 04/20/2010.
