(b) Make room; The pasteurizing CIP pump had a 2" x 1" hole in the rotating shaft guard. (c) Make room; The OO vat curd pump rotating shaft guard had two 2" x 2" holes due to corrosion.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i): Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings were not effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment: Such as, but not limited to; (a) Whey room; The sump pump reset button on the face of the electrical panel was missing. (b) Whey room; A hole in the top of the sump pump reset panel was covered with electrical tape. (c) Grade B intake room; The mag panel reset button on the face of the electrical panel was missing. (d) Grade B intake room; The water level control panel had an open hole in the bottom of the electrical box.
