29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: On December 15, 2011 an employee was not protected by a hard hat while working below employees on a scaffold, exposing him to a struck-by hazard. In accordance with CFR 29 1903.19(c) abatement certification is required of this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
