On the following part revolution clutch mechanical power presses, the sides of the presses were not guarded to prevent access to the dies:    a. Press #22, Verson, 150 Ton mechanical power press    b. Press #20, Cleveland, 150 Ton mechanical power press    c. Bliss, 60 Ton mechanical power press    d. 29 CFR 1910.217(b)(7)(v)(a):     Each two-hand control for single stroke operations on mechanical power press(es) using part revolution clutches was not arranged by design, construction and/or separation so that the concurrent use of both hands was required:    On Press #20, Cleveland, 150 Ton mechanical power press, the two hand controls were not equipped with ring guards and were spaced too close together.  The controls could be pressed with the elbow and fingers of one hand.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1910.217(c)(1)(i):     The employer did not provide and ensure the usage of point of operation guards or properly applied point of operation devices on every operation performed on mechanical power press(es):    On the #16 Stamtec 600 Ton mechanical power press, the light curtain was placed too far from the point of operation and the setup operator could stand between the bolster plate and the light curtain. The light curtain was placed 18 inches in front of the bolster plate.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
