29 CFR 1910.217(d)(9)(iv): Safety blocks were not used when mechanical power press die(s) were being adjusted or repaired in the press: In Metallic Manufacturing, Building 1, Zone 1, the Bliss 50 caliber full revolution mechanical power draw presses, #3 and #4, were not equipped with safety blocks of sufficient size to fill the space between the dies, exposing machine Adjusters to amputation injury when the dies are not adequately blocked from movement when parts are retrieved or the press is adjusted.
