29 CFR 1910.36(d)(2): Exit route door was not free of any device or alarm that could restrict emergency use of the exit route if the device or alarm fails: a) 800 Pacific St. - The emergency exit door located at the front of the building had a cage built around it with the door to the cage equipped with a lock. The condition was note on or about 01/26/2012 NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
