On the site, the employer did not ensure/enforce that protective head gear was utilized by employees performing job task from the ground level below employees working above. Queen Custom Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its Equivalent Standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 314593054, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 30, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 6708 Silverton Lane, Delaware, Oh 43015.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): For all scaffolds not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, each employee shall be protected by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4)of this section. a. At the worksite where masonry work was being performed from a pump jack scaffold, the employer did not ensure/enforce that employees used fall protection while perfoming their job task, thereby exposing employees to an approximate 12 foot fall hazard. Queen Custom Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its Equivalent Standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 314593054, Citation Number 1, Item Number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 30, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 6708 Silverton Lane, Delaware, Oh 43015.
