29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes must be free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor. Stairs or a ramp must be provided where the exit route is not substantially level. a) The exit door in the truck repair shop on the south side wall was being blocked by large semi trailer tires.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel gas cylinders or compustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire resistance rating of at least one-half hour: a) In the maintenance shop there were 5 oxygen tanks and 3 acetylene tanks being stored together.
