NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: a) On or about 1/31/12 at the Save-a-lot store located at 6000 South Park Avenue, Hamburg, New York; employees were using an 8' step ladder to access the main roof from the canopy roof. The step ladder was used as a straight ladder and was not open with the spreaders locked. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
