29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1): Pulley(s) with part(s) seven feet or less from the floor or work platform were not guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o): a) National Electrical Carbon Products, Inc. dba Morgan AM&T - Fostoria, Ohio: On or about January 7, 2012, the employer did not assure the pulley(s) that moves the cloth laying machine's carriage was adequately guarded. An employee was injured when the employees hand became caught in the belt and pulley, resulting in an amputation injury. No additional abatement information is needed for this item.
