29 CFR 1926.501(b)(15): "Walking/working surfaces not otherwise addressed." Except as provided in 1926.500(a)(2) or in1926.501 (b)(1) through (b)(14), each employee on a walking/working surface 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from fallingby a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. Job site located at 1300 Avenue D, Plattsmouth, NE 68048. Each employee on a walking/working surface 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. One employee was welding off of a step ladder at the edge of a concrete floor area without proper fall protection to keep him from falling to the ground level more than 10 feet below the employee.
