29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) 105 Tuttle Ave., Spring Lake, NJ: An employee was exposed to fall hazards on the steep sloped (12 on 12 pitch) roof of a multistory residential home under construction/renovation. The employee was cutting, preparing and installing siding, shingles and copper flashing. The employee was exposed to fall hazards between 18 and 23 feet and was not provided adequate fall protection (PFAS, safety nets, guardrails, etc.) for this site. Observed on or about 02/02/2012
