29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a. Employees utilize corrosive chemicals in the electrocoating area including but not limited to Chemkleen 611LS. A plumbed emergency eyewash was not available in the area. b. A plumbed emergency eyewash in the forklift battery charging area was not maintained in compliance with ANSI Z358.1-1998 for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment in that the emergency eyewash unit was not activated weekly to verify proper operation.
