29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9):     The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch:    a.   Component Repair Shop  Noted on or about 2/13/12 a Baldor 8 bench grinder, serial # G-8-341-11 was missing the tongue guard.    b.  Engine Rebuild Area - Noted on or about 2/13/12 a Baldor 8 bench grinder, serial #1216W had a 1/2" measured space between the tongue guard and the grinding wheel.  The guard should be adjusted to no greater than 1/4".
