29 CFR 1910.28(a)(1): Scaffolds shall be furnished and erected in accordance with this standard for persons engaged in work that cannot be done safely from the ground or from solid construction, except that ladders used for such work shall conform to 1910.25 and 1910.26. (a) Warehouse - Employees climbing onto the tops of the unsecured storage racks were not provided with scaffolding/platform ladders or other safe means by which to access the top of the racks when assembling storage racks. Employees were exposed to falling over 6 feet to the ground.
