29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning was not less than 30 p.s.i. and no effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment was provided when it was: (a) CabParts, Inc. 716 Arrowest Road, Grand Junction, CO 81505: On and before February 14, 2012, the exposing and controlling employer did not ensure that compressed air used for cleaning was less than 30 p.s.i. Specifically, the employees working in the cutting and main floor area were using air on three nozzles all measured at greater than 90 p.s.i by a pressure gage to clean themselves and equipment. This condition exposed employees to eye hazards and other hazards associated with high pressure air.
