29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: 1/ On or about 02/16/2012, south wall of shop area, Nardi Lathe, Model TT 1220E, illegible SN, 220 Volts, 3 phase, unguarded chuck. 2/ On or about 02/16/2012, central south wall of shop area, American Pacemaker Lathe, illegible Model/SN, 10 horesepower, unguarded chuck. 3/ On or about 02/16/2012, central south wall of shop area, Le Blond 40" Standard, illegible Model/SN, unguarded chuck. 4/ On or about 02/16/2012, middle north shop area, Bullard Lathe, illegible Model/SN, unguarded chuck. 5/ On or about 02/16/2012, middle north shop area, Cincinnati Bickford Radial Arm Drill, illegible Model/SN, unguarded chuck and bit. 6/ On or about 02/16/2012, middle north shop area, Carlton Radial Arm Drill, illegible Model/SN, unguarded chuck and bit. 7/ On or about 02/16/2012, north wall, Bridgeport Series 1 Mill Machine, SN J94202, unguarded chuck and drill bit. Hazardous materials such as PST High Tremperature anti-Galling Pipe Sealant, M. M. Honing Oil, and Quick Dry Water Reducible Enamel were used.
