29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer failed to have each employee who is involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question. (a) Bryson/Tucker Electric, Inc. on or about January 27, 2012 at the address of 301 Morrison Dr. Toledo, OH: The employer failed to ensure employees utilizing a Polecat model PC10-30 work platform were trained by a competent person to recognize and avoid hazards specifically associated with this type of scaffold, such as moving and operating limitations.
