29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: Employees performing machining on parts contaminated in Phosphorus pentasulfide were exposed to acid irritation and burns on their hands and the employer did not require the use of gloves capable of providing protection from the phosphoric acid produced from the machining process.
