29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail systems, warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: (a) RTN Roofing Systems at 2619 Midpoint Driver, Fort Collins, Colorado 80525: On and before February 16, 2012 the employer did not ensure their employees were protected from injury, in that employees engaged in re-roofing work on the flat roof of a commercial building were exposed to falls of approximately 14 feet without the use of an adequate fall protection system. RTN Roofing Systems was previously cited for a violation of the same or substantially similar condition of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 310593777, Citation Number 1, Item 1 issued on November 14, 2007 and became Final Order on December 2, 2007 with respect to a workplace located at 19832 E. Hilltop, Parker, CO 80134.
