Little Neck, NY Employees working on the ground were in danger of head injury from falling objects such as, but not limited to tools and materials from other employees who on the third floor throwing them down. Protective helmets were not worn. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19

On or about 02/23/12, at 53-02 Browvale Lane. Little neck, NY Employees installing clay tiles on a pitch roof with a slope of 12 in 12 ratio were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 16 feet, 12 feet to the ground below, respectively. SERIOUS VIOLATION: Mediterranean Scapes Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA Inspection No. 313432130, Citation #1, Item #1, issued on 10/12/11 and the Final Order date on 12/15/11. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED.
