29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding where not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks; (a) Intrex Aerospace, 1815 Boxelder St. Louisville, CO 80027: On and before February 29, 2012, the exposing and creating employer did not ensure that one or more methods of machine guarding were provided for a Hardinge Lathe, Model Number HLV-11, Co. No. 0224, located in the main production area. This condition exposed employees to hazards created by the point of operation, ingoing nip points, and flying chips and sparks created by the operation of the machine.
