29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not develop an accident prevention program, that provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment, to be made by competent persons designated by the employer. a) 70 Moorlinch Blvd., Medford, NJ: Employees were installing asphalt paper and preparing for roof shingles on a steep sloped (8 on 12 pitch) roof, were exposed to fall hazards, and were not provided appropriate fall protection for this site. The employer had not initiated a program for a competent person to conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite, to identify hazards and/or stop the work in the event workers were placed in a hazardous condition. Observed on or about 03/09/2012. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

FINAL ORDER DATE - 08/15/2011.
