29 CFR 1926.1101(c)(1) The employer did not ensure that employees were not exposed to an airborne concentration of asbestos in excess of 0.1 fiber per cubic centimeter of air as an eight (8) hour time-weighted average (TWA), as determined by the method prescribed in Appendix A to this section, or by an equivalent method: (a) A and L Abatement LLC at 2499 S. Colorado Blvd. in Denver, CO: On and before March 1, 2012, the employer did not ensure that employees were not exposed to an airborne concentration of asbestos in excess of 0.1 fiber per cubic centimeter of air in that personal samples for the abatement project were collected for 105 minutes or less. This condition exposed employees to an asbestos hazard. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1926.1101(c)(2) The employer did not ensure that employees were not exposed to an airborne concentration of asbestos in excess of 1 fiber per cubic centimeter of air as averaged over a sampling period of thirty (30) minutes, as determined by the method prescribed in Appendix A to this section, or by an equivalent method: (a) A and L Abatement LLC at 2499 S. Colorado Blvd. in Denver, CO: On and before March 1, 2012, the employer did not ensure that employees were not exposed to an airborne concentration of asbestos in excess of 1 fiber per cubic centimeter of air in that personal samples to comply with the excursion limit were not collected. This condition exposed employees to an asbestos hazard. Abatement Note: The employer must, as soon as possible but no later than 5 working days after the receipt of the results of any monitoring performed under this section, notify each affected employee of these results either individually in writing or by posting the results in an appropriate location that is accessible to employees. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
