29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: JOB SITE: 3961 W. Rock Creek Road, Imperial, MO 63052, at this work site, two (2) workers were observed on an 8:12 pitch roof, actively installing new roof shingles, operating pneumatic nail gun without any form of eye or face protection. The workers were exposed to a struck-by hazard. Ben Strauser was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard of 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314419045, citation number 1, item 1, issued on 8/6/2010 and was affirmed as a final order date of 8/30/2010, with respect to a workplace located on 10424 Tiffany Village Drive, Affton, MO 63123.

Rock Creek Road, Imperial, MO 63052, at this work site, up to four (4) workers were observed on top of residential 8:12 pitch roof, approximately 9 feet 10 inches eave to ground level, actively installing new roof shingles and were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. The workers were exposed to a fall hazard. Ben Strauser was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard of 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314419045, citation number 1, item 2, issued on 8/6/2010 and was affirmed as a final order date of 8/30/2010, with respect to a workplace located on 10424 Tiffany Village Drive, Affton, MO 63123.
