29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems shall be installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. Guardrailsystems shall be installed before the scaffold is released for use by employees other than erection/dismantling crews. On March 14, 2012, employees were exposed to a fall hazard at the construction site located at the Burger Shack on Hwy 76 in Branson, MO were exposed to a fall hazard in that the scaffold they were working on did not have guardrail systems installed on the end where employees were working.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) ormore above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrestsystems. On 14 March, 2012 at the job site located at the Burger Shack on 76 Highway in Branson, MO employees were exposed to fall from height hazards in that they were performing plastering activities on roof structure approximately 12 feet above ground level without the use of an approved fall protection system.
