29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal arrest systems: JOB SITE: 10700 Tesshire Drive, Affton, MO 63123, at this worksite, three (3) workers were observed on the roof of a commercial building, approximately 12 feet 8 inches eave to ground level, leaning over the edge of the roof, installing new metal gutters, and were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems. The worker were exposed to a fall hazard. H&H Sheet Metal was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard of 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314701004, citation number 1, item 1, issued on 7/15/2010 and was affirmed as a final order date of 8/09/2010, with respect to a workplace located on 8229-8272 Brentwood Industrial Drive, Brentwood, MO 63144.
