29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: Construction site: On or about March 7, 2012, some of the employees engaged in the construction of natural gas compressor plant were not wearing protective eyewear. This exposed them to the hazard of being struck in the eye by debris generated during construction activities such as welding and assembly.
