29 CFR 1910.1048(m)(1):     The employer did not communicate the hazards associated with formaldehyde in the workplace when formaldehyde gas, all mixtures or solutions composed of greater than 0.1 percent formaldehyde, and materials capable of releasing formaldehyde into the air, under reasonably foreseeable conditions of use, at concentrations reaching or exceeding 0.1 ppm. As a minimum, specific health hazards that the employer did not address were: cancer, irritation and sensitization of the skin and respiratory system, eye and throat irritation, and acute toxicity:    a)  On 03/23/2012, the employer did not communicate to Line Mechanic employees working with Stripe containing formaldehyde of the specific health hazards including cancer, irritation and sensitization of the skin and respiratory system, eye and throat irritation, and acute toxicity when employees worked in areas where concentrations of airborne formaldehyde reached or exceeded 0.1 ppm.    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED.
